Most likely you've used USIC and you didn't even know it. They are the largest underground locating company in the United States with more than 70M locates annually. If you've ever called 811 to have your yard marked for utilities, there's a pretty good chance you had a white USIC truck parked out in front of your house.
I've been an integral partner with USIC's training team to help develop useful training collateral for the field team as well as their management team back in the office. I've helped develop a 100-page field-ready quick reference guide for their thousands of employees to use as a "cheat sheet" when they have questions as they work. The guide is also available as an ePub on their devices with plans to eventually become a native app. Other projects include: a manager's notebook, a coaching guide that allows for dry erase marker use while training new employees, and commemorative coins focusing on Safety in the field.
